FAQ

  • How much experience is required to enroll?

None. We meet students where they are, no matter what your level of experience is. CCWS programs are designed as a comprehensive course starting from the ground up.

  • I want to enroll, but I have questions - what should i do?

Give us a call! We are happy to walk prospective students through the entire process, and answer any questions you or your family might have!

  • i've submited my application - what's next?

Once you have submitted your application you can expect to hear from CCWS within a few days. If you are accepted into the program, we will schedule a meeting to walk you through the student handbook, school supplies, enrollment agreement, waiver, and course curriculum. Parents and loved ones are welcome to participate in this meeting to ask questions.

  • what if i have an emergency and have to miss class?

We get it - life happens! We try our best to be flexible and accommodating with student circumstances. We ask that you give us as much of a heads up as possible if you know you will be missing a class. We will work to schedule make-up classes on a case by case basis. It is important to note that students may be removed from the program, without a refund, if you have two or more unexcused absences. Communication is essential - contact information for all CCWS staff is provided to all students.

  • Is financial aid available?

While CCWS does not currently participate in federal financial aid programs, we are here to help you explore private funding options. We’ll walk you step-by-step through resources such as private loans, and other financing solutions to help make your welding education more accessible.

  • Will my application fee be applied to my tuition?

Yes - your application fee will be applied toward your tuition balance. Application fees are otherwise nonrefundable.
